ADRIAN ZAHAND
-Tennis Director/ Owner & Operator-
Adrian was a former full time student of the Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He was a teaching pro at Westwood Country Club in Vienna, Virginia from 1985-1986 before assuming the position of Head Pro for Montclair Country Club in 1986-1997, and returned to the Club in 2007. From 1998-2007, Adrian ran several successful businesses and in July 2011, he leased the tennis facility from Montclair Country Club. He brings his business experience, tennis experience, and enthusiasm back to Montclair Tennis Club.
ADAM BAMBERGER
-Head Tennis Pro, Facility Manager-
Adam has been a centerpiece at Montclair for over 15 years. He trained at MTC in high school before competed at the collegiate level with Shenandoah University. He has certifications with the PTR and is currently finishing his Elite Professional certification with the USPTA. When he is not on the court he is organizing play and managing the facility.
BLAKE SHARP
-Tennis Professional-
Blake joins the Montclair staff after competing at the collegiate level for Shenandoah University. Formerly a junior clinic pro for the Mary Washington tennis programs, Blake now brings his tennis experience to the Montclair courts.
TANAKA CHAKANYUKA
-Volunteer Tennis Professional-
Tanaka is a recent graduate of Southern University and A&M college, a prestigious HBCU in Louisiana. She competed in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) conference for five years and has received various awards for her passion and hard work on an off court.
Tanaka loves to engage with players of all ages and skills . She prides herself in working hard while bringing fun to all her lessons.
